Somewhere between a beautiful acid trip and the spectacular summer vacation you never had, Annu Kilpeläinen’s work takes the dreary urban landscapes of her home base in London and reinterprets them in arresting neon colors – colors once described as “so tropical, they look like you could wring a piña colada out of them.” From art books to sketched ideas to prints from the artists she admires, this Finnish artist’s home studio is brimming with creative inspiration.
