3 Things to See: Exchange Rates in Bushwick, NY

There’s no better way to get yourself acquainted with the artistic community in Brooklyn than the annual Open Studio expos that take place around this time every year – and Sluice’s biennial Exchange Rates is no exception. This newcomer to the Open Studios scene in Brooklyn, NY features artists and galleries imported from all over the globe – from London to Paris to Beijing – all free and open to the public. But make no mistake: it’s not a “fair,” insists Sluice. “It is an exposition, to wit.” To help you get started on this exposition expedition, we’ve rounded up three international artists that we’re excited to view this weekend:

1. Sara Impey | Blackwater Polytechnic | Essex, England
